Switch is a common reverse holo from the 2025 Mega Evolution set, numbered #130, and while common cards don't usually turn heads, the reverse holo treatment gives it that little shimmer that collectors like to chase for set completion. If you're looking into Switch value, the short version is that it's an affordable card to own raw but one that can climb quite a bit once it's graded. It's a nice example of how even a common slot can carry real appeal when the artwork and foil come together well, here illustrated by Studio Bora Inc.

The collector's take on Switch

Is Switch worth grading?

So is Switch worth grading? Raw copies sit at $1, and a Grade 9 brings that up to $10, with a PSA 10 reaching $33, which works out to about 50.0x the raw price. That's a real jump, and it's exactly why people bother sending commons like this in at all. The catch is that gem mint is genuinely hard to land, since reverse holos show every little scratch or print line under grading lights, and grading fees plus shipping and wait times can eat into a $1 card fast if it comes back anything less than a 9 or 10. If you already have a copy that looks clean edge to edge under a light, it might be worth the shot, but going in expecting a guaranteed profit isn't realistic here.

How rare is Switch?

We don't have population numbers to point to for Switch yet, which on its own tells you something: this is a common card from a fresh 2025 set, so raw copies are almost certainly out there in decent numbers, but very few people have bothered sending them off for grading. That's typical for cards at this price point, since collectors tend to save grading slots for rarer pulls. It also means a verified PSA 10 stays notable even on a common, simply because so few copies have gone through the process to prove out at that level.

Where can you pull Switch?

Here's the honest answer: PackSpy hasn't recorded Switch being pulled on any of the sites we track yet. That doesn't mean it's impossible to find in a pack, it just means it's landing rarely enough that our live tracking across pack sites hasn't caught one. For a card like this, your best bet right now is usually the secondary market rather than counting on a rip, and that's worth remembering any time you're opening packs for value: most rips don't pay for themselves, and chasing a specific common reverse holo is a long game.

Questions people ask

How much is Switch worth?+

A raw, ungraded Switch from Mega Evolution runs about $1. Graded copies are worth more, with a Grade 9 at $10 and a PSA 10 reaching $33, so the price climbs a lot once it's certified.

Is Switch worth grading?+

It can be, since a PSA 10 sells for 50.0x the raw price, jumping from $1 to $33. Just know that gem mint is tough to hit and grading costs money regardless of the result, so only send in copies that already look sharp in hand.

Why is the Switch Reverse Holo #130 print worth more than the standard one?+

Reverse holo prints flip the foil pattern onto the card's background instead of the artwork, which collectors tend to like and actively seek out for set builds. That extra demand is generally why reverse holo versions of common cards carry a bit more value than their standard non-holo counterparts, even without any rare status attached.
