Eevee has always had a soft spot in collectors' hearts, and this 1st Edition #51 printing from the 1999 Jungle set is a lovely little piece of that early Pokemon nostalgia. It's a common card illustrated by Kagemaru Himeno, so it wasn't chased for rarity back in the day, it was chased because everyone loved Eevee. If you're searching for Eevee value right now, the short answer is that a raw copy sits at $10, while a well graded example can be worth a great deal more.

The collector's take on Eevee

Is Eevee worth grading?

So is it worth grading this Eevee? Here's the honest breakdown. A raw, ungraded copy books at $10, but a PSA 10 has been valued at $1,840, which works out to about 184.2 times the raw price. That's a real jump, and it's exactly why people send cards in. But getting a PSA 10 on a 1999 card is genuinely tough, decades of handling, printing quirks, and slight edge wear all work against you. Grading costs money and takes time, and there's no guarantee your copy comes back gem mint. If your Eevee looks sharp with clean corners and centered printing, it might be worth the gamble, but go in knowing plenty of raw copies grade lower than hoped.

How rare is Eevee?

Across all grading companies, 12,417 copies of this Eevee have been graded, and of those, only 2,219 have earned a PSA 10. That's a meaningful gap. It tells you that while this card was pulled and graded in real volume back when Jungle was everywhere, hitting that top gem mint grade is still the exception rather than the rule. That scarcity at the top end is exactly what keeps PSA 10 prices well above the raw market, even for a common card like this one.

Where can you pull Eevee?

This is where PackSpy's own tracking comes in handy, because we watch actual pack openings across sites rather than just guessing. We've recorded Eevee pulled 200 or more times across courtyard, tilt-rips, collector-crypt, mnstr, lastpack, and packs, so it does show up if you're opening the right products. The biggest pull we've logged came in at $1,232. If you're chasing this Eevee specifically, keep an eye on packs like the Pokémon Starter Pack, Pokemon Dollar Pack, Legendary Pokémon Gacha Pack, Pokémon Master Pack, and Wildcard Starter Pack, that's where it's turned up. Just remember, pack opening is a gamble by nature, most rips don't come close to covering what you paid, so treat it as fun first and investment second.

Questions people ask

How much is Eevee worth?+

A raw, ungraded Eevee 1st Edition #51 from Jungle is valued at $10. Graded copies climb from there, with a Grade 9 sitting at $4,022 and a PSA 10 valued at $1,840, so grade really does move the number.

Is Eevee worth grading?+

It can be, since a PSA 10 is worth about 184.2 times the raw $10 price. But gem mint is hard to hit on older cards like this, and grading costs money with no guaranteed outcome, so it's worth it mainly if your copy already looks sharp in hand.

Why is the Eevee 1st Edition #51 print worth more than the standard one?+

1st Edition cards were only printed in that very first run before reprints took over, which makes them scarcer by nature even though Eevee itself is a common card. That early print status is a big part of why collectors seek this version out specifically.
