TroveDrops, sometimes written Trove Drops, is an online mystery box site with 49 boxes from 25 cents to $2,499: tech, sneakers, watches, jewellery, crypto and a couple of card boxes. Every item in every box has its chance printed, and we summed those chances against the item values: every paid box pays back 85% of its price on average, so the house keeps 15%. Results are provably fair and you can check any drop yourself. One thing to know before anything else: the site says on its own homepage that it is in open beta, free credits only, and no prizes are shipped during beta. So this page is what we know so far, with no score, until it launches for real.

You pay a fixed price for a box, one item from a printed list comes out, and you keep it, sell it back to credit, or (after launch) have it posted. The boxes are themed: a $2.99 Card Pack, a $49 Tech Vault, a $149 Iced Luxury box, a $499 Hypebeast Vault, all the way up to a $2,499 Trove Titan with an $88,000 diamond ring at the top.
It is the same shape as Krush, Cases.gg and RillaBox, and it is the newest of the case opening sites we have looked at. What makes it different right now is one word on its homepage: beta.
The banner at the top of trovedrops.com says it plainly: open beta, for fun not for real, free credits only, and no prizes are shipped during beta. Real rewards go live at launch.
So today you cannot lose money on TroveDrops, and you cannot win anything either. Every win on its list is a free-credit win of a picture of a prize. That is why this page has no score, no live feed and no "best win today". We will not dress up a beta as a working site. What we can do is check the parts that will not change at launch: the boxes, the odds and the fairness system.

The odds are printed on every item, they add up correctly on every box, and the fairness system is the real thing, with a checker you can run yourself. None of that is how a scam is built.
What is missing is everything a company normally tells you. There is no company name, no address, no registration number, and the terms, about and privacy links all open the homepage. No Trustpilot page exists and nobody is talking about it on Reddit. That is not a red flag for a site in beta, but it means nobody outside the company has tested a payout or a shipment, and neither have we. There are 49 boxes. Two are free (a daily box and a Free Roller), and the paid ones run from 25 cents (Pocket Change) up to $2,499 (Trove Titan). The bulk of the range sits between $5 and $150: Blind Box Drop at $5.99, Chaos Crate at $4.99, Tech Vault at $49, Sneaker Heat at $79, Watch Box at $120.
The themes are tech, sneakers, streetwear, watches, jewellery, crypto and gaming, with two card boxes. The top prizes are the usual bait: a MacBook Pro, a Rolex Submariner, a Hermes Birkin, $1,000 in Bitcoin. Every box lists every item with its price and its chance, which is the part that matters.
Here is the sum we do on every box site. Take each item's chance, multiply it by the item's price, add them all up, and divide by the box price. That is how much of your money comes back on average.
On TroveDrops the answer is 85.0% on every single paid box, all 47 of them, with no exceptions. On a $10 box you get $8.50 of prize value back on average, and the site keeps $1.50. That 15% is the house edge. It is in the same range as Krush (10 to 15%) and Cases.gg (a stated 10%, 89.5% by our sum), and the flat number tells you something: nobody has tuned one box to be worse than the others. The site does not print the 15% anywhere in those words, but it prints everything you need to work it out, which is more than most.
Before you open a box, the site shows you a hash of its server seed, which is a fingerprint of a secret number it has already chosen. You set your own client seed. The result is worked out from both plus a counter, so the site cannot change it after seeing what you would win. Afterwards the server seed is revealed and you can check that the fingerprint matches.
The fairness page has a checker: paste in the seeds and it gives you a tick or a cross. We read the method and it is the standard one the bigger sites use. We have not yet run a real drop through it, because there are no real drops yet.
If you came here from a pokemon mystery box search, there are two boxes for you and both are small. The $2.99 Card Pack lists an Elite Trainer Box ($65) at a 0.48% chance, a graded PSA 9 ($40) at 1.5%, and mostly sleeves, toploaders and a single booster. The $14.99 Card Slab Chase tops out at a $500 vintage WOTC pack at 0.0018%, which is about one in 55,000.

Nothing here is tested, because nothing here works yet. The site says you can sell any item back to credit, and that after launch you will be able to ship a real prize to your door. There is no page yet that says what shipping costs, how long it takes, or how credit turns back into money.
We will fill this section in the week it launches, with a real withdrawal if we can make one. Until then, treat the credit as play money, because that is what it is.
There is no TroveDrops promo code. Sign-up runs through referral links, and ours is what the button on this page uses. If a launch bonus appears, it will show in the sign-up flow, and we will print the terms here once we have read them.
Nothing, yet. There is no Trustpilot page for trovedrops.com, no Reddit thread of any size, and the only write-up we found is one Australian listicle that repeats the site's own player numbers. We will not repeat those numbers, because a site in beta with free credits cannot have paid out millions.
Search demand tells the same story: about ten searches a month for the name. That will change if the launch goes well, and this page will be here when it does.

A trovedrops scam search turns up nothing, because almost nobody has used it yet.
