Trove.xyz Review: Is It Legit, and Is It Worth It?

Trove is a US pack site where every pack holds one real graded card, the odds sit on every pack page, and sell-backs start at 100%. Its own pages disagree on how long that 100% lasts, and shipping runs through PSA at PSA's prices, so read both parts before your first rip.

Trove, at trove.xyz, is a pack opening site and iPhone app run by Trove Inc., a Delaware company. You buy a digital pack, one real graded card comes out of a PSA vault, and you keep it, ship it or sell it back. Every pack prints its odds as price bands, results are provably fair, and it covers Pokémon, One Piece, football, basketball, baseball and soccer from $25 to $5,000. The catches: the sell-back rate drops within minutes of the pull, Trove's pages give three different versions of how fast, and getting a card posted means PSA's fees and an ID check.

Trove, at trove.xyz, sells slab packs: digital packs that each hold one real graded card. You rip packs online, the card is yours the moment it shows, and it sits in a PSA vault until you decide what to do with it. Keep it, ship it home, or sell it straight back to Trove. Trove's own line is Digital Packs, Real Cards, and that is a fair summary of the digital pack opening here. It covers Pokémon, One Piece and four US sports, from a $25 Starter to a $5,000 Mythos, with the odds printed on every pack page. This trove.xyz review is built from Trove's own pages and terms, its App Store listing, and 345,083 Trove pulls PackSpy recorded between 17 September and 18 October 2026.

How Trove works

  1. Sign up on trove.xyz or in the iPhone app. Signing up and logging in are the same screen: you type your phone number and confirm it with a code.
  2. Pick a game and a level. Packs run from a $25 Starter ($30 for One Piece) to a $5,000 Mythos, and each pack page prints its odds as price bands.
  3. Pay with Apple Pay or one of the other options at checkout. There is a coupon box, and you can spend TroveCash, Trove's reward points.
  4. Rip the pack. One graded card comes out, mostly PSA slabs, and it is held for you in a PSA vault.
  5. Keep it, sell it back to Trove (100% of its price right after the pull, less later), or have PSA ship it to you.
  6. Before you cash out or ship, Trove checks who you are. Sale money goes to your bank, and the app listing also names debit, PayPal and Venmo.

What Trove actually is

Trove is a slab pack site. Every pack holds one real graded card, and when you open it on screen that card is yours. The card itself never moves: it stays in a PSA vault until you sell it back to Trove or ask PSA to post it to you. The company is Trove Inc., the site is trove.xyz, and there is an iPhone app beside it.

It is online pack opening with a real card at the end. You open packs online, each virtual pack opening reveals one card, and each of these digital card packs holds one real slab. So Trove's digital trading card packs are graded card packs underneath: pack opening online here ends in a card you can hold, not a picture.

Trove covers more ground than most slab packs: Pokémon, One Piece, football, basketball, baseball and soccer, on levels named Starter, Booster, Reserve, Premier, Epic, Legend, Apex and Mythos. For online card pack opening across the big US sports as well as Pokémon and One Piece, that is a wide spread.

It is not TroveDrops, the mystery box site we review on its own page, and it is not the Trove video game.

The Trove homepage, captured from a US browser on 18 October 2026.

Is Trove legit?

Yes, by the signals we can check, and is Trove legit is the right first question. Trove Inc. is a Delaware company with full terms, a privacy policy and a support address. The cards are real graded slabs held in a PSA vault, and Trove says it is the only PSA-certified repacks partner. Every pack page prints its odds before you pay, and every result is provably fair, which means you can check it was fixed before you opened the pack. The iPhone app holds 4.7 stars from about 1,200 App Store ratings.

The worst Trove scam claim we found is one App Store review from June 2026. A player says a card moved to the PSA vault never arrived, that shipping carried fees nobody had explained, and that they were disputing the charge with their card company. A review from May describes a cash-out that showed an error and left the money stuck. That reads like a young site with rough edges, not a fake one, and it is why we say start small. Disputes go to private arbitration (a JAMS hearing, not a court) under New York law, and the terms waive class actions.

Trove packs and prices

Every Trove pack holds one card, and the price buys a level, not a set. Pokémon, baseball and soccer run from a $25 Starter through Booster ($50), Reserve ($100), Premier ($250), Epic ($500) and Legend ($1,000) to a $2,500 Apex. Trove football and basketball packs add a $5,000 Mythos on top. One Piece starts at $30 and stops at the $1,000 Legend. All Trove packs work the same way, so Trove rip packs differ only in price and in the pool of cards behind them. These are graded slab packs at every level.

Beside those sit the drops. Vintage Pokémon sells Pocket Monsters packs of classic cards from the late 1990s to 2005, from $25 (sold out when we looked) to $500. Cooperstown Vintage is old baseball, which Trove's own line dates 1949 to 1990, at $50, $100 and $250. Snapback Packs mix the sports at $50, $250 and $1,000, and Snapback Saturdays is a $100 football pack. So Trove sports cards get as much shelf space as the card games: four sports, each with online sports card packs and digital sports card packs at every level.

Each level shows its chase cards, the best cards in its pool, with Trove's price on each. The top of the $25 Pokémon Starter is a 1996 Japanese Charizard at $400. The top of the $2,500 Pokémon Apex is a 1999 first edition Charizard in a PSA 9 slab at $125,000.

A Trove pack page: pick the game, the level and how many packs. The service fee read $0.

The odds: what a $25 pack really gives

Trove prints its odds as price bands, not as a list of cards. Here is the $25 Pokémon Starter on 18 October 2026: a 36% chance of a card worth $12.50 to $17.50, 39% for $17.50 to $25, 22% for $25 to $40, 3% for $40 to $75, 0.5% for $75 to $200 and 0.1% for $200 to $400.

In plain words: three pulls in four (36% plus 39%) come back worth $25 or less, and the lowest band starts at half the pack price. About one pull in four beats the price, and one in a thousand lands in the $200 to $400 band. Every Trove pack page we read has the same shape, from the $25 Starters to the $2,500 Apex, whose bottom band is $1,300 to $1,800.

So these are pokemon mystery packs with the odds printed on the wrapper. Each one is a graded card mystery pack: you know the odds, not the card. You could call them mystery slab packs. Trove notes that the bands are worked out from its stock at that moment and locked when you buy, so check the table on the day. Trove prices its cards from CardLadder and recent sales, and the sell-back uses the same prices.

The odds table on the $25 Pokémon Starter, 18 October 2026.

What PackSpy recorded on Trove

PackSpy records the pulls Trove shows on its own site. Between 17 September and 18 October 2026 we recorded 345,083 of them, with no player names kept. At Trove's own card prices, those cards were worth 96.7% of what the packs cost, so every $100 of packs turned into about $96.70 of cards. A little over a third of pulls (36.8%) were worth at least the pack price, so most Trove rips land under it.

Pokémon did best. Pokémon packs came back at 102.9% of their price across 126,493 pulls, which means slightly more card value than money spent, and the $25 Pokémon Starter alone ran at 103.5% across 80,802 pulls. One Piece came in lowest at 89.5% across 14,928 pulls, about $89.50 of cards per $100. Football, basketball, baseball and soccer sat between 92.8% and 96.0%.

Two things keep those numbers honest. They are Trove's prices, not cash: you only get 100% of a card's price if you sell it back in the first moments, and less after that. And they are averages over a lot of pulls, so one pack can land far from them.

The biggest Pokémon pull we recorded was a Snorlax card Trove valued at $40,434, from a $2,500 Pokémon Apex pack on 19 September 2026. A Charizard at $34,200 followed on 29 September. The biggest pull of all was a Kobe Bryant card at $98,741, the same day. In the five days from 13 to 17 October we recorded between 18,818 and 28,181 Trove pulls a day.

Trove's own Recently Pulled row on its homepage, 18 October 2026.

Selling back: read this part twice

Trove buys any card back, and the first offer is the full price. How long that lasts depends on which Trove page you read. Its terms (updated 15 October 2026) say 100% of the price for 55 seconds after the pull, 93% for the first hour, then 90%. Its homepage says 100% for the first 2 minutes, 90% for the next 24 hours, then 80% at any time after that. Its help answers say 100% for the first few minutes, 90% for 24 hours, then 80% forever. On every version, the full price is gone within minutes.

The terms also say Trove sets the price and can change or withdraw any offer at any time, so the number on your screen is the one that counts. Decide fast: if you want the money, take the 100% offer before it drops. If you keep a card longer, expect 80% or 90% of Trove's price when you sell. There is no sell-back fee.

Sale money lands in your Trove balance straight away. One rule matters here: Trove's terms say the money you can withdraw is limited to what you got from selling cards back to Trove.

Trove's help answer on sell-backs, 18 October 2026. Its terms give shorter windows.

Trove withdrawal: getting your money out

A Trove withdrawal goes to your bank through Stripe, a payments company, and Trove's help answer says it usually arrives the same day and within 24 hours. The App Store listing also names debit, ACH bank transfer, PayPal and Venmo. Before your first cash-out, Trove checks who you are: its privacy policy lists ID documents and social security numbers among what it may collect for those checks.

The terms allow a withdrawal fee, shown before you confirm. We have not cashed out yet, so we cannot tell you the fee or the real time. One App Store review from May 2026 describes a cash-out that showed an error and left the money stuck, so make your first withdrawal a small one.

Trove shipping and the vault

Your cards live in the Trove vault, which is really a PSA vault: Trove says they are held there insured, climate-controlled and at no extra cost. Trove shipping works through PSA. Trove moves the card to your own PSA vault account, and PSA posts it. Trove's help answer says the cost depends on how many cards and how far they travel, the fee is paid to PSA, and delivery takes 10 to 14 days. The terms add that Trove's own transfer fee can depend on how long you held the card and on your membership.

So it is rip and ship, or rip n ship as most collectors write it, with one extra stop. Rip and ship pokemon cards from Trove and the slab arrives graded, never loose, and one piece rip and ship works the same way. You need an ID check before a card leaves, and you may need to set up a PSA account. A June 2026 App Store review says those steps and the PSA fees came as a surprise, so read the shipping screen before you commit.

Paying in, and the Trove fees

The pack page shows an Apple Pay button and an Other Payment Options button. Trove's terms name credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and the order total showed a $0 service fee on every pack we checked. There is also an Apply Coupon box, which we come back to below. Prices are in US dollars.

The Trove fees in plain words: no fee to sell a card back, about 4.8% on Apple Pay payments (Trove says that is what Apple charges it), PSA's fee to ship a card, and a possible fee to withdraw, shown before you confirm.

Trove pack battles

Pack battles are where two or more players each buy and open a pack, and the player whose card has the highest price takes every card. Trove's terms say Trove sets each card's price for the battle, a tie hands each player their own card back, and results are final. The grade alone does not decide the winner; the price does.

They are popular. In the three days from 15 to 18 October 2026, 34.4% of the Trove pulls PackSpy recorded, about one in three, came from battles. Every pack level is open to battles, so pokemon pack battles run from the $25 Starter up. The battles page needs an account, so we could not look at it signed out. Treat a Trove pack battle as winner takes all: you can lose a good card to a better one.

Is it fair, and is Trove safe?

Trove is provably fair. Before anyone buys, Trove locks in a secret number and publishes a scrambled fingerprint of it. Your browser adds its own number when you buy, and the two together decide your card. The secret is revealed each day at midnight UTC, and Trove's provably fair page has a checker that runs in your browser to prove your result was set before you opened the pack. Trove also freezes the odds at the moment you buy.

Is Trove safe? It is a real company with real cards and a working checker, so yes in that sense. Two cautions. Some players call this pack opening gambling. Apple rates the Trove app 18+, with simulated gambling and loot boxes in its age rating. Whether the law sees it that way is not settled, and the state box below shows what Trove's own rules allow. And the terms let Trove change odds, prices, fees and offers at any time. Spend only what you would happily spend on a night out.

Trove Pokémon and Trove One Piece

Trove Pokemon packs mix modern and vintage cards. The Starter tops out at $400, and the Apex chase list holds a first edition Charizard ($125,000), a 2003 Umbreon in a PSA 10 slab ($114,000) and a Celebi ($84,000), all at Trove's prices. Vintage fans get the Pocket Monsters drop of late-1990s to 2005 cards. Trove Pokemon cards are mostly PSA slab packs, but we saw Beckett and CGC slabs too, and Trove says it stocks PSA, Beckett, CGC and SGC. All Trove trading cards are graded.

If you want to open Pokemon packs online and end up with real cards, this is how Trove does it. You do not open real Pokemon packs online here: you open a digital pack that hands you one graded card. That makes it Pokemon pack opening online for collectors rather than set builders. Online Pokemon pack opening sites sell digital Pokemon packs and virtual Pokemon packs in many shapes; Trove's are graded Pokemon card packs from top to bottom. People who open Pokemon cards online for the chase will like the Apex list. Anyone after online Pokemon booster packs should know the $50 level is called Booster but still holds one slab. Some call this Pokemon gacha online, and that is close: you pull from a pool with printed odds. Pokemon card opening online on Trove ends the same way every time: one graded card.

Trove One Piece packs run from a $30 Starter to a $1,000 Legend, and the Legend's top card is a 2025 Monkey D. Luffy at $29,000. In our records One Piece paid back the least of Trove's games (89.5%), so it is a place for fans who want the cards more than the best value. If One Piece pack opening is your thing, Trove lets you open One Piece packs online with the same odds table and sell-back as Pokémon. These are One Piece slab packs and Pokemon slab packs alike: every card in Trove TCG packs is graded.

The top of the $2,500 Pokémon Apex chase list on 18 October 2026, at Trove's prices.

The Trove app

The Trove app is real. It is on the App Store as "Trove - Rip Sports & TCG Packs", from Trove Inc. It is free, it needs iOS 18 or later, it is rated 18+, and it holds 4.7 stars from about 1,200 ratings. The Trove iOS app has been updated since March 2026, most recently to version 0.6.6 on 4 October. The Trove download is free, and so is the Trove app download on any iPhone.

There is no Trove Android app that we could find. Trove's own help answer mentions Android, but Google Play had no Trove pack app on 18 October 2026, and Trove's download link sends Android phones to the website. On Android, use trove.xyz in your browser.

The Trove card app does what the site does: sign up, rip, sell back and cash out, plus a swipe to rip. Trove pack opening in the app runs on the same account as the website. If you came for a pack opening app with real slabs, a Pokemon pack opening app or a card rip app on iPhone, this is one of the pack opening apps to try. Trove app reviews on the App Store praise the design and the PSA vault, and complain about the odds and the fees on shipping.

The Trove login and the Trove sign up are one screen: type your phone number, confirm it with a code, and you are in. The ID check comes later, before your first cash-out or shipment.

Trove promo code, referral code and free packs

There is no Trove promo code that we could find, and no trove.xyz promo code on any Trove page. The checkout does have an Apply Coupon box, so a code may turn up in Trove's emails or socials, but we will not print one we have not seen work. Most Trove codes listed on code sites are for the Trove video game, so any Trove code or Trove promo you find there will not work here.

A Trove referral code is really an invite link, like ours. The Trove refer a friend deal (Trove writes it Refer-a-Friend) pays the person who invites, not the new player: the inviter gets TroveCash worth 10% of the friend's first purchase. That deal runs until 25 October 2026. So joining through a Trove referral link, ours included, gets you the same packs and prices as anyone else. We found no Trove free pack and no free sign-up credit.

What you do get is TroveCash, the Trove cash-back points of the Trove Club. In Season 1, which runs to 25 October 2026, every qualifying pack pays back between 0.25% and 1% of its price in TroveCash. If you opt in, holding cards in your collection also earns TroveCash worth 2% of their value a year, paid monthly and gone after 30 days if unused. TroveCash buys packs only and cannot be cashed out.

Our invite page at trove.xyz/@PackSpy, 18 October 2026. It names no bonus for the new player.

Trove reviews: Reddit, the App Store and support

Trove reviews mostly live on the App Store, where the app holds 4.7 stars from about 1,200 ratings. The good ones praise the design, the PSA vault and the 100% first offer. The bad ones name slow or failed cash-outs, PSA shipping fees nobody explained, an ID check that asks for a social security number, and odds one reviewer called among the worst of the slab pack apps.

Is there a Trove Reddit? Not one of its own that we found: r/Trove is about the Trove video game. We have no Trove Trustpilot score either, because Trustpilot's page did not load for us. Trove support answers at support@trove.xyz, and the App Store listing promises an in-app support team for withdrawals, shipping and card values. Trove customer service is not something we have tested yet. Trove also runs a Discord; the Trove Discord link sits in the trove.xyz footer.

Sites like Trove

The closest Trove alternative is Courtyard: graded cards in a vault, an iPhone app, and an 84.6% sell-back you have seven days to accept. Collector Crypt sells back at 85% to 94% depending on the machine. Packz mixes graded Pokémon and US sports slabs with a full odds table, and Gemint prints an expected value on each Pokémon pack. Phygitals sells back at 85% to 100% by pack.

The other Trove alternatives are on our pack opening sites page, which lines up the pack opening websites we review on the pulls we record. For online slab packs and online card rips that end in real graded cards, those are the best pack opening sites we know. Trove is not one of the repack sites that post you a physical pack of loose cards; it is closer to a gacha with real slabs.

Who Trove is for

You want real graded cards across Pokémon, One Piece and the big US sports, you like seeing the odds before you pay, and you either keep your hits or sell them back on the spot. That is Trove, and it is easy to recommend for that, especially on iPhone. Start with a $25 Starter, sell back fast if you want the money, and make your first cash-out a small one.

It is not for you if you want sealed packs, if you are on Android and want an app, or if you want time to think over a sell-back. Read the shipping screen before you ask for a card.

Final verdict

Trove earns a 4.5. It is a real, well-built way to rip graded cards across Pokémon, One Piece and four US sports, and it is open about the odds: every pack prints its price bands, and results are provably fair. At Trove's own prices, the 345,083 pulls we recorded came back at 96.7% of what was spent, with Pokémon above 100%. What holds it back is the sell-back: the 100% offer lasts minutes, Trove's own pages disagree on the rates after it, and shipping runs through PSA with PSA's fees and an ID check first. Go in knowing that, and it is an easy site to recommend. Our score: 4.5 / 5.

FAQ

What is trove.xyz, and how does Trove work?

Trove is a US pack opening site and iPhone app run by Trove Inc. You buy a digital pack, one real graded card comes out, and it is held in a PSA vault. Then you keep it, sell it back to Trove, or have PSA ship it to you.

Is Trove legit, or is it a scam?

It is legit by the signals we can check: a Delaware company, real graded cards in a PSA vault, odds printed on every pack, provably fair results and a 4.7-star iPhone app. The complaints we read are about cash-outs, shipping fees and one card transfer that went wrong, so start small and test a cash-out early.

Is Trove cards legit? Are the cards real?

Yes. Trove cards are real graded slabs, mostly PSA, with some Beckett and CGC. They sit in a PSA vault, and you can have any of them shipped to you through PSA.

Is Trove safe?

It is a registered company with real cards and a provably fair checker. The risks are the usual ones: the sell-back drops within minutes, shipping and cash-outs need an ID check, and Trove can change odds and fees at any time. Spend only what you can afford to lose.

Is Trove app legit, and is there a Trove Android app?

The iPhone app is legit: Trove Inc. publishes it on the App Store, rated 18+, at 4.7 stars from about 1,200 ratings. We found no Android app on Google Play on 18 October 2026, so on Android use trove.xyz in your browser.

Is there a Trove promo code or referral code?

We found no working Trove promo code. A Trove referral code is an invite link, and under Trove's rules the reward goes to the person who invites, not the new player. Codes listed online for Trove are mostly for the Trove video game.

Can I get a Trove free pack?

Not that we found. Trove shows no free pack and no sign-up credit. You do earn TroveCash on purchases in the Trove Club, which goes toward later packs.

How does a Trove withdrawal work?

Sell a card back, then withdraw the money to your bank through Stripe. Trove says it usually lands the same day and within 24 hours, and the app listing also names debit, PayPal and Venmo. You need to pass an ID check first, and only money from selling cards back can be withdrawn.

How does Trove shipping work?

Trove moves the card to your PSA vault account and PSA ships it. You pay PSA's fee, set by how many cards and how far they travel, and Trove says delivery takes 10 to 14 days. An ID check comes first.

What are the Trove fees?

No fee to sell back, a $0 service fee on packs, about 4.8% on Apple Pay payments, PSA's fee to ship a card, and a possible withdrawal fee shown before you confirm.

How do Trove pack battles work?

Two or more players each open a pack, and the highest-priced card wins every card in the battle. Trove sets the prices, a tie returns each card to its owner, and results are final. About one Trove pull in three that we recorded came from a battle.

Does Trove have Pokémon and One Piece packs?

Yes. Pokémon runs from a $25 Starter to a $2,500 Apex, with a Vintage Pokémon drop beside it, and One Piece runs from a $30 Starter to a $1,000 Legend. Football, basketball, baseball and soccer are there too.

Is there a Trove Reddit community?

Not one of its own that we found. The r/Trove subreddit is about the Trove video game. For player opinions, the App Store reviews are the best source today, and Trove runs its own Discord.

How do I contact Trove support?

Email support@trove.xyz. The App Store listing also promises in-app support for withdrawals, shipping and card values.

What are sites like Trove?

Courtyard is the closest Trove alternative, with graded cards in a vault, an iPhone app and an 84.6% sell-back. Collector Crypt, Packz, Gemint and Phygitals are the others to compare. Our pack opening sites page lines them all up.

Is Trove the same as TroveDrops or the Trove game?

No. TroveDrops is a separate mystery box site in beta, reviewed on its own page, and the Trove video game is another company again. This review is about Trove at trove.xyz, run by Trove Inc.
