Questions
What does value back mean?
It is how much of the pack's price came back as card value. 100% means the cards that came out were worth what the packs cost. Below 100% means the site kept the difference, which is how these sites make money. Above 100% for a day usually means one very large card landed.
How do you count these rates?
We record every pull each site publishes in its own public feed, price the card against real sale data, and add up both sides over the last 24 hours. A pull only counts when we know BOTH what the pack cost and what came out of it. A pack we cannot value is left out of the sum entirely rather than counted as a zero.
Why is a site showing over 100%?
Usually one very large card in a short window. A single $17,000 hit on a small site moves a day's average a long way, and it does not mean the site pays out more than it takes in over a year. The pulls counted figure is there for exactly this reason: read the rate next to the sample size it came from.
Why do some sites show a dash?
Because they publish winners only. ripz puts a pull in its feed when it is worth showing, so counting it would compare good pulls against a full pack spend and invent a rate several times too high. A dash is the honest answer, so a dash is what we print.
Are these the odds of pulling a Charizard?
