Clutch Packs Review: Is It Legit, and Is It Worth It?

Clutch Packs sells one real card per pack across sports, Pokémon and One Piece, and every pull is recorded on a public blockchain, tied to the card and its value at the pull. The big hits are real, but almost half of all pulls come back worth less than half the pack price, so rip for the chase, not for the floor.

Clutch Packs, at clutchpacks.io, is a pack opening site and iPhone app run by Big Time Tech Ltd, a company in Malta. You buy a digital pack for $25 to $2,500, one real card comes out of Clutch's insured vault, and you sell it back, keep it or ship it. Every pull is written to the Polygon blockchain, every pack lists its cards and odds, and Clutch publishes its own pull results pack by pack. The catches: the average leans on rare giant hits, most cheap pulls are raw cards rather than slabs, and withdrawals do not run at weekends. New players get 20% off their first pack with the promo code PACKSPY20.

Clutch Packs, at clutchpacks.io, sells digital packs that each hold one real card. You rip packs online, the card is yours the moment it shows, and it waits in Clutch's vault until you sell it back, keep it or have it shipped. About four pulls in five are sports cards, and the rest are Pokémon and One Piece. What sets Clutch apart is the paper trail: every pull is recorded on the Polygon blockchain with the price paid, and each record links to the card and its value at the pull, so anyone can count the results. We did. This Clutch Packs review is built from Clutch's own pages and terms, its App Store listing, and 40,101 Clutch pulls PackSpy recorded between 9 September and 19 October 2026.

How Clutch Packs works

  1. Sign up on clutchpacks.io or in the iPhone app. Clutch asks you to confirm your phone number before you can buy a pack.
  2. Pick a pack. There are 25, from a $25 Liftoff to a $2,500 Moonshot, and each pack page lists every card in its pool with the odds for each tier.
  3. Pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, USDC or your Clutch balance. New players can type PACKSPY20 at checkout for 20% off the first pack.
  4. Rip the pack. One card comes out, graded by a company like PSA or checked by Clutch's own experts, and the pull is recorded on the Polygon blockchain.
  5. Sell it straight back (90% on Pokémon and One Piece packs), keep it in Clutch's insured vault, or ship it home.
  6. Withdraw your balance to a debit card, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, a bank or USDC. Clutch's payment partner may check your identity before your first withdrawal.

Pros

  • Every pull is on the Polygon blockchain with the price paid, linked to the card and its value, so the results can be counted
  • Each pack lists every card in its pool, with the odds for each tier
  • A transparency page with Clutch's own pull results for every pack
  • A 90% instant sell-back offer on the Pokémon and One Piece packs
  • Cash out to a debit card, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, a bank or USDC
  • Across the 40,101 pulls we recorded, cards came to 109.3% of what was paid, at Clutch's own values
  • 20% off your first pack with the promo code PACKSPY20

Worth knowing

  • That average leans on rare giant hits: without the 28 pulls worth $10,000 or more, it was 92.9%
  • Almost half of all pulls (45.7%) came back worth less than half the pack price
  • Most cheap pulls are raw cards: only 28% of the $25 Liftoff pulls were graded
  • The sports packs print no sell-back rate; you see each offer before you accept it
  • Withdrawals are not processed at weekends
  • Clutch's rules do not list which places are blocked, and disputes go to private arbitration under Maltese law
  • iPhone only: no Android app that we could find

What Clutch Packs actually is

Clutch Packs is a pack opening site for sports cards, Pokémon and One Piece. You buy a digital pack, it opens on screen, and one real card comes out. That card is either graded by a company like PSA or checked by Clutch's own experts. It sits in Clutch's insured vault until you decide what to do with it: sell it straight back, keep it, or have it shipped. Clutch writes its name as one word, ClutchPacks, and the site is clutchpacks.io.

Every pull also lands on the Polygon blockchain. The card shows up in your account as an NFT, a digital token that stands for the real card in the vault. So these are nft trading cards with a real card behind each one. On the sports side that makes them nft sports cards: digital sports cards you can swap for the real thing by having it shipped. You do not need any crypto to use Clutch, though. You can pay by card and cash out to a bank or PayPal.

The company is Big Time Tech Ltd, which trades as ClutchPacks from Mosta in Malta. Clutch says its stock comes from Trace N' Chase, which it calls the EU's largest sports card distributor.

The Clutch Packs homepage, captured from a US browser on 21 October 2026.

Is Clutch Packs legit?

Yes, by every signal we can check. Big Time Tech Ltd publishes full terms, a privacy policy and a company address. Every pull is written to a public blockchain with the price paid, linked to the card and its value, and Clutch adds those records up on its own transparency page. On 19 October 2026 we counted pulls on the blockchain and on Clutch's own counter side by side for 2 hours 20 minutes, and got 37 on each. Trustpilot shows 4.1 stars from 48 reviews, and the iPhone app holds 4.0 stars from 22 ratings. So is ClutchPacks legit? We think so.

The worst complaint we read is an App Store review from September 2026. The player says the app lags, the screen can skip the rip and jump to the result, and support did not answer. The same player says Clutch ships fast. That reads like a young app with rough edges, not a fake site, and it is why we say start small.

Two things to know before you sign up. Disputes go to private arbitration (a JAMS hearing, not a court) under Maltese law, and the terms waive class actions. You can opt out of that by email within 30 days of joining. And Clutch can change packs, odds and offers at any time.

Full disclosure: PackSpy earns a commission if you sign up through our link, and it never changes what we write.

Clutch Packs packs and prices

Clutch had 25 packs on 21 October 2026, each holding one card. The Launch Series runs the same ladder across games. Multi-sport packs go Liftoff ($25), Ascent ($100), Orbit ($500), Galaxy ($1,000) and Moonshot ($2,500). Pokémon and One Piece each get Liftoff ($25), Ignition ($50), Ascent ($100) and Orbit ($500). Soccer has Liftoff, Ascent and Orbit, and football, basketball and baseball each have an Ascent ($100) and an Apex ($350), with a $1,000 Galaxy for football. Two limited packs made with Bookit Sports, a network of sports creators, cost $50 (Silver) and $250 (Gold).

Every pack page shows three numbers: the Average Value, the Floor and the Chaser Ceiling. On the $25 Liftoff those are $25, $5 and $250, so the worst card is worth a fifth of the price and the best regular card ten times it. The ceiling grows with the price, up to $30,000 on the $2,500 Moonshot.

So these are sports card packs, digital pokemon packs and One Piece packs on one ladder. Each one is one of Clutch's digital trading card packs: digital card packs with a real card at the end, never a picture.

Part of the Clutch Packs shelf, 21 October 2026: the multi-sport and Pokémon Launch Series.

The odds: what a $25 pack really gives

Clutch shows every card in a pack's pool, sorted into four tiers: Epics, Chasers, Hits and Commons. The percentage beside each tier is simply its share of the cards. The $25 Pokémon Liftoff on 21 October 2026 held 201 cards: 4 Epics (2.00%), 14 Chasers (6.97%), 33 Hits (16.42%) and 150 Commons (74.64%). In plain words, three pulls in four are Commons.

Clutch's own transparency page shows how that plays out. Across 16,915 Pokémon Liftoff pulls, the average card was worth $25.71, just over the price. But 41.2% of pulls came back worth a fifth to half of the price, which on this pack is $5 to $12.50. Only 0.3% hit ten times the price or more. Every pack we looked at has the same shape: an average close to the price, a lot of small cards, and a few big ones on top.

So these are Pokemon mystery packs with the whole pool printed on the wrapper. Each one is a pokemon mystery pack you can study before you pay, and the same goes for the football mystery packs, baseball mystery packs and basketball mystery packs. Like all mystery card packs and online mystery packs, you know the odds, not the card. Card values are Clutch's own, worked out from recent sales, and the odds can change as cards leave the pool.

What PackSpy recorded on Clutch Packs

PackSpy reads every Clutch pull from the blockchain. Between 9 September and 19 October 2026 we recorded 40,101 of them, an average of 978 a day, from 1,812 different player wallets. No player names are kept. Players paid $4,514,845 for those packs, counting discounts at the price actually paid, and at Clutch's own values the cards came to $4,935,994. That is 109.3%: about $109.30 of cards for every $100 spent.

Before that number gets you excited, look at where it comes from. The 28 pulls worth $10,000 or more hold 15% of all the card value, and 26 of them came from the $2,500 Moonshot. Take those 28 out and the rest came back at 92.9%. The typical pull is far lower: half of all pulls were worth 54% of the pack price or less, and 45.7% were worth less than half the price. One pull in four (25.3%) was worth at least what was paid, and 149 pulls, about one in 270, hit ten times the price or more.

Two more things keep the numbers honest. They are Clutch's values, not cash: the sell-back offer is a share of that value, 90% on the Pokémon and One Piece packs. And they are averages over a lot of pulls, so one pack can land far from them.

Series Hits and the biggest pulls

Clutch puts a few grails, called Series Hits, into its packs, and says they can be hit in any pack, at any price. On 21 October 2026 the pack pages showed a 2000 Bowman Chrome Tom Brady at $130,000 and a LeBron James patch autograph at $35,000.

They do come out. The biggest pull in our records is that Tom Brady, a Beckett 9 with certificate 0016722367, and it came out twice. A $2,500 Moonshot hit it on 16 October, and the player sold it back. On 18 October it came out of a $100 Ascent, which is 1,300 times the pack price. By 21 October the same slab was listed as a Series Hit again. So a card that is sold back can go back into the packs.

After the Bradys, our biggest pulls were a $40,000 Kobe Bryant autograph on 10 October and a $30,000 Patrick Mahomes autograph on 13 October, both from a Moonshot. Clutch's all-time hall of fame is led by the same $130,000 Brady, then a $40,000 Kobe Bryant and a $34,364 LeBron James. We recorded 650 pulls worth $1,000 or more in the 41 days.

Clutch's all-time hall of fame, 21 October 2026, with the player names left out.

Is it fair? The blockchain record

Clutch does not call itself provably fair. What it gives you instead is a public record. Each pull is minted on the Polygon blockchain when it happens, with the price charged for it, and the card's details sit behind that record. Clutch's transparency page adds those records up for every pack: the average pull, the smallest and the biggest. It also shows how often a pull came back at 10 times the price or more, 5 to 10 times, 2 to 5 times, 1 to 2 times, or less. Clutch says everyone gets the same odds.

That makes Clutch one of the few blockchain trading cards sites where anyone can check the results, and our own count is built on the same record. Two cautions. Some players call this pack opening gambling, and Apple rates the Clutch app 18+, with frequent simulated gambling and loot boxes in its age rating. Whether the law sees it that way is not settled, and the state box below shows what Clutch's own rules say. And the terms let Clutch change packs, odds, prices and offers at any time. Spend only what you would happily spend on a night out.

Clutch's transparency page, 21 October 2026. Each band is a multiple of the pack price.

Graded or raw: what comes out

Clutch promises one graded or authenticated card per pack. In our records, 41.6% of pulls were graded slabs and 58.4% were raw cards checked by Clutch's own experts. You can look up a raw card on Clutch's Verify page with its verification code. Of the slabs, 85.8% were PSA, and the rest were CGC, Beckett and SGC.

The mix depends on the pack. Only 28% of $25 Liftoff pulls were graded, against 86% of $2,500 Moonshot pulls. By game, Pokémon was the most graded at 67.6%, sports at 39.5%, and One Piece the least at 27.6%. So the Pokémon side is mostly pokemon slab packs and psa slab packs, while the cheap sports and One Piece packs are mostly raw. The $2,500 Moonshot, at 86% graded, is the closest Clutch comes to mystery slab packs, nearly a graded card mystery pack every time.

That matters if you came for slab packs. If you are asking what is a slab pack: it is a pack that holds one graded card in its plastic case, a slab. Clutch is not all graded slab packs: it is part slab pack and part raw. For graded card packs, graded pokemon card packs or psa graded card packs all the way down, spend more per pack or stick to Pokémon. To rip slabs online every time, with online slab packs and slab rips graded at every price, try the sites near the end of this review.

Selling back: the 90% offer

Every card you pull comes with an instant sell-back offer based on its market value, and you see the exact amount before you confirm. On the Pokémon and One Piece packs, Clutch prints the rate: an instant buyback offer of 90%. The sports packs do not print a rate, so check the offer on each card. The money lands in your Clutch balance at once, and you can withdraw it or spend it on more packs.

Three rules come with it. Clutch's terms say it can change or withdraw an offer before you accept it. A card you sell back can no longer be shipped to you. And a sold-back card can go back into the packs, which is how the same $130,000 Tom Brady came out twice. If you came for a sports card buyback with a fixed rate, Clutch's is fixed only on the card game packs.

Paying in, and the Clutch Packs withdrawal

You can pay with a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, USDC on the Polygon network, or your Clutch balance. Prices are in US dollars. You can pay at checkout or add money to your balance first.

A Clutch Packs withdrawal can go to a debit card, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, a bank account linked through Plaid, or USDC on Polygon. Clutch says the methods can vary by country. The withdrawal screen shows the expected time for each method, and USDC settles instantly. The homepage promises payment within 24 hours, but the help centre adds that withdrawals are not processed at weekends.

Some money cannot be withdrawn. Sell-back money and USDC deposits can come out any time, card deposits only after you have spent them at least once, and promotional credits, bonuses and Clutch Coins never. Any fee or minimum shows before you confirm. Clutch's payment partner may check your identity before your first withdrawal. We have not cashed out yet, so make your first withdrawal a small one.

Clutch Packs shipping and the vault

Your cards live in Clutch's vault, which Clutch says is insured to each card's full market value, for as long as you like. To ship, pick the cards in your vault, choose Ship, add your address and a shipping option, and pay the postage. Clutch says it usually dispatches within one business day, through USPS or UPS, and emails you tracking. It ships to most countries, with any import duties paid by you, and you can ask for a signature on delivery.

So it is rip and ship, or rip n ship as most collectors write it. Rip and ship Pokemon cards, One Piece cards and sports cards the same way, and one piece rip and ship works the same as the rest. Clutch's sports card vault also lets you send a card to another Clutch user or to a Polygon wallet. We have not shipped a card yet, so we cannot tell you the postage or the real delivery time.

Clutch Packs promo code, coupons and free packs

There is a Clutch Packs promo code from us: PACKSPY20. Clutch Packs sent it to PackSpy on 21 October 2026, and it gives first-time users 20% off their first pack. Sign up through our link, set the pack quantity to 1, tap Coupon Code at checkout, type PACKSPY20 and press Apply. The 20% shows in the price before you pay. So the clutchpacks.io promo code is a Clutch Packs coupon code you type yourself, and it works as a Clutch Packs discount code on one pack.

Clutch runs no refer-a-friend scheme that we could find. Its help centre names two kinds of promotion: coupon codes you type at checkout, and bonuses it adds to your account. So there is no Clutch Packs referral code to swap with a friend. PACKSPY20 is the Clutch Packs sign-up code for new players. A Clutch Packs voucher code goes in the same Coupon Code box, because Clutch calls its codes coupon codes.

Two of Clutch's own rules apply to every code. A coupon covers a single pack, so a basket of two or more will not take it. And you can use only one bonus or coupon per purchase. The discount is real money off: the blockchain records the price actually paid, and 748 of the pulls we recorded were bought at exactly 20% off.

Clutch also adds bonuses to accounts. A discount bonus takes money off one pack. Clutch Packs risk free bonuses top your sell-back up to the full price you paid if the offer comes in lower. A Clutch Packs free pack is a bonus too: Clutch can add one to your account, but we found no free pack for signing up. Every pack also earns Clutch Coins and XP, which move you up five tiers (Base, Holo, Gold, Platinum and Black). Coins buy balls, tickets, memorabilia, cards and wax in the Clutch Shop, and they cannot be cashed out.

Clutch's help centre on coupons and bonuses, 21 October 2026.

Clutch Packs Pokémon and One Piece

Clutch's Pokémon packs run Liftoff ($25), Ignition ($50), Ascent ($100) and Orbit ($500). We recorded 4,232 Pokémon pulls, and at Clutch's values they came back at 104.0% of their price. Two in three (67.6%) were graded, the most of any game. The best Pokémon pull we recorded was a 2002 Shining Tyranitar first edition in a PSA 9 slab, worth $5,000, from a $500 Orbit on 12 September.

If you want to open Pokemon packs online and end up with a real card, this is how Clutch does it. You do not open real Pokemon packs online here: each digital pack hands you one card. That makes it Pokemon pack opening online for collectors, not set builders, and anyone after online Pokemon booster packs should know there are no boosters. Online Pokemon pack opening sites sell virtual Pokemon packs in many shapes, and some call this pokemon gacha, or pokemon gacha online: you pull from a pool with the odds printed. People who open Pokemon cards online for the chase will like the Orbit, whose cards run up to $5,000. Pokemon card opening online on Clutch ends the same way every time: one card in your vault.

One Piece has the same four packs. We recorded 3,041 One Piece pulls at 103.2% of their price, and the best was a Monkey D. Luffy in a PSA 10 slab worth $5,499.99, from a $500 Orbit on 17 October. If One Piece pack opening is your thing, you can open One Piece packs online here, but expect raw cards: only 27.6% were graded, so these are not One Piece slab packs. Think of them as one piece mystery packs, or one piece gacha, with the pool printed.

Clutch Packs sports cards

Sports are most of Clutch: 81.9% of the pulls we recorded. There are packs for football, basketball, baseball and soccer, plus multi-sport packs that mix them. So NFL pack opening, NBA pack opening and MLB pack opening all happen here, from $25 to $2,500. At Clutch's values, sports pulls came back at 110.1% of their price, the highest of the three games, because nearly all the giant hits are sports cards.

The multi-sport packs are where the chase lives. The $2,500 Moonshot came back at 123.1% across 443 pulls, but only one in four of those pulls was worth at least $2,500. The $25 multi-sport Liftoff came back at 98.2% across 13,771 pulls. The Bookit Sports Silver pack ($50) is built to be steadier, with a $25 floor and a $400 ceiling: half its pulls were worth $36 or more, against about $12 on a $25 Liftoff.

If you rip sports cards online, this is sports card pack opening with the pool on show: football card pack opening, baseball card pack opening, basketball card pack opening and soccer card pack opening all work the same way. Clutch's sports card mystery packs are digital sports card packs, or virtual sports card packs, and each one is a sports card mystery pack with a real card behind it. Online sports card packs like these are close to a sports card mystery box with printed odds, and the football card mystery packs and baseball card mystery packs follow the same tiers. These are online sports card rips: open sports card packs online, take the card, and keep, sell or ship it. Clutch's sports card rips are sports card packs online and nothing more. There are no pack battles of any kind, so no sports card pack battles and no Pokemon pack battles: every pack is yours alone.

The Clutch Packs app

The Clutch Packs app is real. It is on the App Store as ClutchPacks, "Rip packs. Pull real cards.", sold by Big Time Tech AG. It is free, needs iOS 15.6 or later, is rated 18+, and holds 4.0 stars from 22 ratings. Version 1.0 came out on 14 July 2026, and version 1.2 on 12 October.

There is no Android app that we could find. Google Play had no ClutchPacks app on 21 October 2026, and Clutch's own site links only to the App Store. On Android, use clutchpacks.io in your browser.

The app does the same things as the site: rip, sell back and withdraw, vault and ship. If you came for a pack opening app with real cards, a pokemon pack opening app or a card rip app on iPhone, this is one of the pack opening apps to try. The App Store reviews praise the shipping and the design, and the one bad review we read says the app lags.

Clutch Packs reviews: Trustpilot, Reddit and the App Store

Clutch Packs reviews are mostly on Trustpilot, where clutchpacks.io reviews average 4.1 stars from 48 reviews. Clutch has claimed the page, and Trustpilot says it has replied to 77% of negative reviews, usually within two weeks. The good reviews praise the site, the reveal and withdrawals that arrived on time. The mixed ones wish the odds were better and say the floor comes up a lot, which matches what we recorded. On the App Store the app holds 4.0 stars from 22 ratings.

Is there a Clutch Packs Reddit? Not one of its own that we found. We found a few posts about it in r/SportsCardCollecting and r/Tradingcards. Clutch packs are also a pack type in Madden Ultimate Team, and a part in car gearboxes, which are different things.

So our Clutch Packs cards review comes down to this: the cards are real, the shipping gets good words, and the complaints are about the odds and the app. Support answers at info@clutchpacks.io, and we have not tested it yet.

Sites like Clutch Packs

The closest rival is Courtyard: graded sports and Pokémon cards in a vault, with odds you can check on its blockchain and an 84.6% sell-back. Trove sells graded Pokémon, One Piece and US sports cards with a 100% sell-back right after the pull. Pullmarket is sports-first, with 105 packs and real graded slabs in a US vault, and Packz mixes graded Pokémon and US sports slabs with a full odds table. Collector Crypt records its pulls on a blockchain too, with an 85% to 94% sell-back.

The other sports card sites and pack opening sites we review are on our pack opening sites page, which lines up every pack opening site on the pulls we record. Those pack opening websites are the best pack opening sites we know for online pack opening, online card rips and online card pack opening, and the card opening sites and card rip sites that hand you a real card. Clutch is not one of the repack sites that post you a physical pack of loose cards. It is digital pack opening, a virtual pack opening with a real card behind it, closer to card gacha than to a shop.

Who Clutch Packs is for

You like sports cards, Pokémon or One Piece, you want to open packs online and see every card in the pool before you pay, and you like that every pull can be counted on a public record. That is Clutch Packs, and it is easy to recommend for that. Start with a $25 Liftoff and the code PACKSPY20, sell back or ship the cards you want, and make your first cash-out a small one.

It is not for you if you want a slab every time at the cheap end, if you are on Android and want an app, or if you need your money at the weekend. Rip packs online for the chase, not the floor: half of all pulls come back worth about half the pack price or less.

Open means Clutch Packs's own rules let people in that state sign up. A site can still turn you away at sign-up, and this is not legal advice: no court has yet decided whether paying for a random pack counts as a bet. You must be 18 or older. Final verdict

Clutch Packs earns a 4.6. It is a real, well-run way to rip one card at a time across four US sports, Pokémon and One Piece, and it is more open than most: every card in the pool is listed, every pull lands on a public blockchain, and Clutch publishes its own results pack by pack. At Clutch's values, the 40,101 pulls we recorded came back at 109.3% of what was paid. What holds it back is how that average is made: a few giant hits carry it, almost half of all pulls are worth less than half the price, and most cheap pulls are raw cards. Go in for the chase, start with PACKSPY20 for 20% off your first pack, and it is an easy site to recommend. Our score: 4.6 / 5.

FAQ

What is Clutch Packs, and how do Clutch Packs work?

Clutch Packs is a pack opening site and iPhone app run by Big Time Tech Ltd in Malta. You buy a digital pack for $25 to $2,500, one real card comes out of Clutch's insured vault, and the pull is recorded on the Polygon blockchain. Then you sell the card back, keep it, or have it shipped.

Is Clutch Packs legit, or is it a scam?

It is legit by every signal we can check: a registered company, real cards in an insured vault, every card in each pack listed, and every pull on a public blockchain that matched Clutch's own counter when we checked. Trustpilot shows 4.1 stars from 48 reviews. The complaints we read are about the odds and an app that lags, so start small.
