Eevee has always had a soft spot in collectors' hearts, it is the little shapeshifter that can become almost anything, and this particular version comes from the Japanese Time Gazer set as card #52. If you are digging into Eevee value right now, the short answer is that it sits at the affordable end of the spectrum, but that does not make it any less fun to track or pull. It is the kind of card that gets people started in this hobby, and plenty of longtime collectors still keep one around out of nostalgia.

The collector's take on Eevee

Is Eevee worth grading?

So is Eevee worth grading? Raw copies sit around $2, and a PSA 10 comes in at $44, which works out to about 25.1 times the ungraded price. That sounds like a nice jump, and it is, but grading fees, shipping, and the wait time add up, and a card has to come back in gem mint condition to actually hit that PSA 10 number. A Grade 9 only brings $13, so anything short of perfect narrows the gap fast. If you already have a copy sitting in a binder and it looks sharp with clean corners and solid centering, sending it in could be worth a shot. If you are buying raw copies specifically to grade for profit, just know the math only works out if you are pulling gem mint hits, and that is never guaranteed.

How rare is Eevee?

We do not have official population numbers to point to for this one, so it is hard to say exactly how many PSA 10 copies exist. What we can say is that base rarity cards like Eevee tend to show up in bulk print runs, which usually means raw copies are easy to come by while true gem mint examples are a lot less common than people assume. That gap between plentiful raw supply and scarce top grades is exactly what pushes the PSA 10 price so far above the ungraded price, even on a card that is not considered rare.

Where can you pull Eevee?

This is where our data actually gets interesting. PackSpy has tracked Eevee getting pulled 200 or more times across sites like courtyard, tilt-rips, collector-crypt, mnstr, lastpack, and packs, and the biggest recorded pull value hit $1,232, which shows just how much variance there can be depending on what else lands in that rip. We have seen it turn up in packs like the Pokémon Starter Pack, Pokemon Dollar Pack, Starter Pokémon Gacha Pack, Pokémon Basic Pack, and Elite Pokémon Gacha Pack. Worth remembering though, opening packs is gambling, and most rips do not come close to covering their cost, so treat any hit as a bonus rather than the plan.

Questions people ask

How much is Eevee worth?+

A raw, ungraded Eevee from the Time Gazer set is worth around $2. Grading pushes that up, with a Grade 9 sitting at $13 and a PSA 10 reaching $44, so condition makes a real difference here.

Is Eevee worth grading?+

It can be, since a PSA 10 is worth about 25.1 times the raw price of $2. But gem mint copies are not easy to land, and grading costs money regardless of what grade comes back, so it is worth it mainly if your copy already looks close to perfect.

How much is a PSA 10 Eevee worth?+

A PSA 10 Eevee is currently valued at $44, a solid step up from the $13 you would get for a Grade 9 or the $2 a raw copy typically sells for.
