Gigalith is that heavy-hitting Rock type from Emerging Powers, the 2011 set that a lot of collectors still have a soft spot for, and Naoki Saito's artwork on this Rare gives it a nice chunky presence in a binder. If you're checking Gigalith value because you just pulled one or found an old copy in a shoebox, the short answer is that it's a common, affordable card in raw form, but the story changes quite a bit once grading enters the picture. This page walks through the real Gigalith price at every stage, from ungraded up to a perfect PSA 10.

The collector's take on Gigalith

Is Gigalith worth grading?

Here's the honest breakdown: a raw Gigalith sits at $1, a Grade 9 climbs to $8, and a PSA 10 sits at $153, which works out to 152.5x the raw price. That's a real jump, but it only tells half the story. Grading costs money and takes time, and there's no guarantee your copy comes back gem mint, since even small print or edge flaws can knock it down a grade. If you've got a copy that looks genuinely sharp under a light, sending it in could be worth the shot, but if it's got soft corners or surface wear, you're probably better off keeping it raw or selling as is rather than gambling the grading fee away.

How rare is Gigalith?

Across every grading company combined, there are only 47 graded copies of Gigalith on record. That's a fairly tight number for a card from a mainstream set, and it means every high grade copy that does exist carries a bit more weight with collectors who care about population counts. When so few copies have been certified, especially at the top end, it naturally supports that big price gap between a Grade 9 and a PSA 10, since gem mint examples are simply rare to come across in graded form.

Where can you pull Gigalith?

PackSpy has tracked 7 real pulls of Gigalith so far, all recorded at courtyard, with the biggest recorded pull landing at $53. We've also seen it turn up in the Wildcard Basic Pack, the Pokémon Pro Pack, and the Pokémon Starter Pack. That's the kind of thing a price guide can't tell you, but our live tracking can: where this card is actually showing up when people open packs in real time. Worth saying plainly, though, opening packs is a gamble, and most rips don't come close to covering what you spent, so treat any pull as a nice bonus rather than the plan.

Questions people ask

How much is Gigalith worth?+

A raw, ungraded Gigalith from Emerging Powers is worth $1. Once you get into graded copies the price moves up quickly, with a Grade 9 sitting at $8 and a PSA 10 reaching $153.

Is Gigalith worth grading?+

It depends on the condition of your copy. The jump from raw to PSA 10 is about 152.5x, which sounds tempting, but gem mint copies are genuinely hard to land, and grading fees eat into any profit if your card comes back lower than expected.

How much is a PSA 10 Gigalith worth?+

A PSA 10 Gigalith is valued at $153. With only 47 total graded copies across all grades, a gem mint example is one of the harder versions of this card to track down.
