Minior is that little meteor Pokemon that cracks open into a core the second it takes damage, and as Holo #77 in the 2017 Guardians Rising set it's a fun one for collectors who like their cards with a bit of personality. It's a Rare card illustrated by Naoki Saito, and while it's not a chase card in the traditional sense, plenty of people search for the Minior value simply because it's a nostalgic pull from that era. If you're trying to figure out the Minior price right now, the short answer is that it sits at the affordable end of the hobby, which makes it an easy one to actually enjoy rather than stress over.

The collector's take on Minior

Is Minior worth grading?

So is Minior worth grading? Here's the honest picture: a raw, ungraded copy sits at $1, a Grade 9 comes in at $4, and a PSA 10 is listed at $3, with PSA 10 copies generally valued at about 5.9 times the raw card. Those numbers tell you two things. First, gem mint status does carry a premium over a raw copy, but the gap here is small in real dollars. Second, grading costs money and takes time, and there's always a chance your card comes back at a Grade 9 rather than that coveted PSA 10, or gets a lower grade than you hoped. For a card at this price point, grading is really more about the fun of chasing a gem mint slab for your own collection than it is a smart financial move. If you love the card and want it protected and certified, go for it. If you're doing it purely for profit, the math just doesn't favor you here.

How rare is Minior?

Scarcity is where Minior actually gets interesting. Across every grading submission on record, only 18 graded copies of this card exist, and of those, just 3 have earned a PSA 10. That's a genuinely small population for any card, holo or not, and it means that even though the dollar values are modest, a PSA 10 Minior is a rare object in an absolute sense. Low population numbers like this usually mean that whoever is holding one of those 3 gem mint copies isn't going to see it come up for sale very often, even if the price tag doesn't reflect that yet.

Where can you pull Minior?

Here's the part most price guides can't tell you: we track real pack openings across pack sites, and so far Minior Holo #77 hasn't shown up in any recorded pull. That doesn't mean it's impossible to find in a pack, but it does mean it's rare enough, or the packs containing it are opened infrequently enough, that it simply hasn't crossed our radar yet. In practice, if you want this card in hand, your best bet right now is the secondary market rather than banking on a pack rip. And that's a good reminder in general: opening packs is a gamble, and most rips don't pay off, so chase this one because you like the card, not because you're expecting a payout.

Questions people ask

How much is Minior worth?+

A raw, ungraded Minior Holo #77 from Guardians Rising is valued at $1. It's an affordable card from the 2017 set, so most people pick it up for the love of the Pokemon rather than as an investment.

Is Minior worth grading?+

It can be worth grading if you want a certified gem mint copy for your collection, but financially the jump is modest, a Grade 9 sits at $4 and a PSA 10 at $3. With only 18 graded copies total and 3 at PSA 10, hitting gem mint isn't guaranteed, so grade for the fun of it rather than for profit.

How much is a PSA 10 Minior worth?+

A PSA 10 Minior Holo #77 is valued at $3, which works out to about 5.9 times the raw card's value. Only 3 copies have ever been graded PSA 10, so while the price is low, the actual card is genuinely hard to find.
