Is Pikachu worth grading?
That is a real jump, and it is exactly why people ask about grading in the first place. But gem mint is called gem mint for a reason. Getting a 10 means the card has to come back from the grading company with no visible flaws, and Pikachu Holo prints are notoriously fussy about centering and surface marks, so plenty of nice-looking copies end up as Grade 9 or lower. Add in the grading fees and turnaround time, and it only really makes sense to send this one in if your copy looks genuinely sharp under a light. If it has soft corners or edge wear, you are usually better off keeping it raw or selling as is.
