Raichu has always been one of those Pokemon that collectors have a soft spot for, and this Ball #56 version from the 2026 Ascended Heroes set is a nice little piece of that legacy. It's an Uncommon card illustrated by Iori Suzuki, which means it was never meant to be a chase card, but plenty of people still want to know the current Raichu value before they decide whether to grade one or just enjoy it in a binder. Right now that value sits at a very approachable price point, which is part of the charm.

The collector's take on Raichu

Is Raichu worth grading?

So is Raichu worth grading? Let's talk it through honestly. A raw, ungraded copy sits at $1, a Grade 9 comes in at $12, and a PSA 10 gem mint copy jumps up to $37, which works out to 27.4x the raw price. That's a real multiplier on paper, but remember grading fees, shipping, and turnaround time all eat into that gap, and hitting a true gem mint 10 is never guaranteed even on a card that looks perfect to the naked eye. If you've got a copy that's flawless under a light and you're doing it alongside other cards to spread the cost, it can make sense. If it's just one card sitting in a sleeve, the smarter move might be enjoying it as is rather than gambling grading fees on a $1 card.

How rare is Raichu?

Raichu carries an Uncommon rarity tag, which puts it in that comfortable middle ground: not something you'll pull in every other pack, but far from a rare chase card either. We don't have official PSA population numbers to point to here, but Uncommon cards from a fresh 2026 set like Ascended Heroes tend to circulate widely early on, which keeps raw and graded prices grounded rather than spiking. That accessibility is exactly why the Raichu price stays modest across the board, from raw copies right up through PSA 10.

Where can you pull Raichu?

This is where PackSpy's own data comes in handy, because we track real pulls across pack sites, not just price guide estimates. Raichu has been pulled 200 or more times across tracked sites including tilt-rips and courtyard, and the biggest recorded pull value for this card came in at $21. If you're hunting for it yourself, it's been showing up in the Novice Pack, Pokemon Mini Pack, Pokemon Dollar Pack, Pokémon Starter Pack, and Pokemon Dime Pack, so those lower tier packs are genuinely your best shot. Worth saying plainly though: opening packs is a gamble, and most rips don't come close to what you paid for them, so treat any pull as a bonus rather than an investment plan.

Questions people ask

How much is Raichu worth?+

A raw, ungraded Raichu Ball #56 currently sits at $1, which reflects its Uncommon status in the Ascended Heroes set. Grading it changes the picture: a Grade 9 lands at $12, and a PSA 10 reaches $37. So the honest answer depends heavily on the condition and whether it's been graded.

Is Raichu worth grading?+

It can be, since a PSA 10 pulls in 27.4x the raw price, taking it from $1 up to $37. But gem mint copies are genuinely hard to hit, and grading fees plus the wait time need to be weighed against that $1 starting point before you commit.

How much is a PSA 10 Raichu worth?+

A PSA 10 gem mint Raichu Ball #56 is valued at $37, compared to just $1 for a raw copy and $12 for a Grade 9. That gap shows why grading talk always circles back to this card, even though it's an Uncommon rather than a headline chase card.
