Rhydon is one of those steady, classic names from the XY set that reminds a lot of us why we started collecting in the first place, a solid Rock-type with a Rare tag and some really nice reverse holo shine from artist Midori Harada. It came out back in 2014, and if you are searching Rhydon value or trying to figure out how much is Rhydon worth right now, the honest answer is that it sits at a modest $1 raw. So is Rhydon worth grading? Let's be straight about it. A raw copy sits at $1, and even a PSA 10 only bumps that up to 1.1x the raw price, which barely moves the needle here. Hitting gem mint is never guaranteed either, centering, edge wear and surface flaws can knock a card down to a Grade 9 in a heartbeat, and Grade 9 copies land right back at $1 too.
