Yanma is one of those quiet gems from the Neo Discovery set, released back in 2001, with artwork from Atsuko Nishida that still holds up today. As a Rare card, it never had the flash of a full-art or a first edition holo, but that has not stopped collectors from asking what a Yanma value actually looks like in today's market. Right now a raw, ungraded copy sits at $20, which makes it an approachable little piece of Neo Discovery history to chase.

The collector's take on Yanma

Is Yanma worth grading?

So is Yanma worth grading? Here is the honest answer: a PSA 10 copy is currently going for $15,140, which works out to roughly 757.4 times what you'd pay for a raw card. That is a massive jump on paper, but gem mint is genuinely hard to hit on a card this old, and grading takes time, costs money upfront, and comes with zero guarantees. A Grade 9 lands at $96, which is a much more realistic outcome for most submissions, so weigh that middle ground before you send anything off expecting a perfect 10.

How rare is Yanma?

Across all grading companies combined, there are 1,391 graded copies of Yanma on record, and only 26 of those have earned a PSA 10. When you put those two numbers side by side, it is clear just how rare a truly gem mint copy is compared to the overall population. That scarcity at the top end is exactly why the PSA 10 price sits so far above everything else, since so few copies have survived in that kind of condition over the years.

Where can you pull Yanma?

This is where PackSpy's own pull tracking comes in handy, because we do not just guess at where cards show up, we record it. Yanma has been pulled 200 or more times across sites like tilt-rips and courtyard, with the biggest recorded pull value hitting $21. It has also turned up in packs like the Pokemon Dime Pack, the Pokémon Starter Pack, and the Wildcard Basic Pack, so if you are hoping to pull one yourself rather than buy it outright, those are real, tracked places it has surfaced. Just remember that opening packs is a gamble no matter what card you are chasing, and most rips do not come out ahead financially.

Questions people ask

How much is a PSA 10 Yanma worth?+

A PSA 10 Yanma is valued at $15,140, making it by far the most valuable version of the card. With only 26 PSA 10 copies existing out of 1,391 total graded, that price reflects just how tough this card is to find in perfect condition.
