Most sites like Boxed.gg work the same way. The site lists every prize with its chance. You pay for a box, and one prize comes out. The sites differ in three ways: what is in the boxes, how big a cut the site keeps, and how you get value out. We read the printed odds of nine mystery box sites every day, so we can compare them on numbers, not adverts. On 21 October 2026, the middle box on five Boxed.gg alternatives paid back 89 to 90 cents per dollar, by each site's own printed odds. Those five are HypeDrop, LuxDrop, Cases.gg, Upgrader.com and Krush.gg. The Boxed.gg boxes our review checked pay back about 85 cents. So on paper, each of those five keeps a smaller cut.
Why look for a Boxed.gg alternative: Gems, the cut and shipping
Boxed.gg does a lot right. It shows the value and chance of every card before you pay. It ships the card you pull. Our full Boxed.gg review covers all of that. Still, three things send people looking for websites like Boxed.gg.
- Gems are not money. Boxed says its Gems, the credit you buy to open boxes, have no cash value. Value leaves as cards, as CS2 skins sent to Steam, or as crypto. If you paid by card, you must ask Boxed for crypto.
- The cut is not printed. Boxed does not state its house edge, the share it keeps on average. We worked it out from its own odds: about 15%.
- Shipping adds up. Posting a card costs $5.50 in the US and $25 to most of Europe. So a cheap card is never worth sending on its own.
Boxed also blocks some countries and does not publish the list. So the best alternative for you depends on which of these bothers you most.

The best sites like Boxed.gg: Pullbox, HypeDrop, Krush.gg and Cases.gg
Pullbox, if you want card boxes like Boxed's. Pullbox is a card box site for Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and One Piece. We review it with the pack sites, but it works the way Boxed does. It had about 280 Pokémon boxes when we reviewed it. Every box lists each card with its value and its exact chance. Our review did the sums on five boxes by hand. Four paid back 87.7% to 88.0% of the price in card value. The fifth, Evolving Skies at $88.66, paid back only 73.4%. So check a box before you open it.
One honest gap: Pullbox publishes no data feed we can read. So we hold none of its pulls, and these figures come from its printed odds, not from opens we counted. The detail is in our Pullbox review.

HypeDrop, if you want more than card boxes and a crypto cash-out. HypeDrop mixes card boxes with sneakers, watches and tech. When we reviewed it, 58 boxes carried the Pokémon tag and 68 carried the TCG (trading card game) tag. We summed its printed odds on 836 boxes. Of those, 745 pay back 90% of their price in sticker value, the price HypeDrop puts on each prize. You can take a prize's value out in crypto from $15, with a 2% fee. There is no bank withdrawal.
Krush.gg, if you want to know the cut before you pay. Our Boxed review calls Krush the closest match among the mystery box sites we cover, with a wider prize list. Krush prints its own margin, its cut, on every box: 10% to 15%. Sign up and it gives you three free boxes. Sell a prize back, and you can withdraw the balance once any bonus money has been played through. The catch for card fans: only 7 of its 129 boxes held Pokémon cards when we reviewed it.
Cases.gg, if you want a payout you can check. Cases.gg prints a 10% house edge. Its live feed shows every open, losses included, so we can test that claim further down. It is US only. You play with Gold Coins, and only boxes opened with Cases Cash can win a real prize. To cash out in crypto, you verify your identity first. Its Pokémon corner is small: five boxes carried the Pokémon tag when we reviewed it.
Five Boxed.gg alternatives paid back 89 to 90 cents per dollar by their own odds on 21 October 2026
Every site here prints each prize's value and its chance. Multiply the two for each prize and add them up. That gives what a box pays back on average, in cents per dollar spent. We take the middle box on each site, where half its boxes pay more and half pay less. That way one odd box cannot move the figure.
| Site | Middle box pays back | Pokémon boxes |
|---|---|---|
| HypeDrop | 90.1% | 58 |
| LuxDrop | 90.0% | 10 |
| Cases.gg | 89.5% | 5 |
| Upgrader.com | 89.3% | 3 |
| Krush.gg | 89.0% | 7 |
| Pullbox | 87.7% to 88.0% on 4 of 5 boxes | About 280 |
| Boxed.gg | 80.0% | Most of its boxes |
| Jemlit | 80.0% | Not a focus |
| HapaBox | 71.4% | 41 |
| RillaBox | No odds figure (see note) | 4 |
Boxed.gg sits at 80.0% in that table, and our review says about 85%. Both are true. Boxed's big Pokémon set boxes, like Phantasmal Flames and Prismatic Evolutions II, pay back 84.7%. But 715 of the 1,187 Boxed boxes we read pay 80.5% or less, and they pull the middle down. Yet those 715 boxes get under a fifth of all opens. Weight each box by how often it has been opened, and Boxed pays back 83.1%.
Jemlit and HapaBox sit lower. On Jemlit, 328 of 337 boxes paid back 80% when we reviewed it. There is also no way to withdraw money from Jemlit at all. HapaBox's 71.4% is counted at its own sell-back prices, the credit it gives you for a prize.
Real opens on Cases.gg paid close to its printed odds
Printed odds tell you what a box should pay. Only a feed that shows every open, the losses too, tells you what it did pay. Cases.gg has one. We recorded 198,987 Cases.gg box opens from 26 August to 21 October 2026, and together they paid back 88.3%. That is close to the 89.5% its odds promise for the middle box.
Battles paid back less. In a box battle, two or more players open the same boxes, and the highest total takes the lot. Cases.gg battles paid back 81.3% over the same weeks.
Upgrader.com shows every bet too. Its 22,315 box opens from 29 August to 21 October 2026 paid back 77.2%. That is below the 89.3% its printed odds give. But it is a much smaller sample, and a few big prizes can move it a long way.
Boxed.gg cannot be checked like this. Its public feed shows good drops only, so the opens that paid little never appear. We still watch it. In the 30 days to 21 October 2026, we recorded 82,906 Boxed drops worth $10 or more. That shows Boxed is busy. It cannot show what Boxed pays. Our live mystery box rankings use these same sources. They knock points off any printed figure we cannot check against real opens.
Questions people also ask
Which Boxed.gg alternatives are open in the US?
Here is what each site's own terms said when we checked them on 11 October 2026. Pullbox and RillaBox name no blocked state. HypeDrop restricts parts of its service in Washington state. HapaBox gives Washington limited access, and Upgrader.com does not take Washington residents. Cases.gg is US only and closes Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Nevada and Washington. Krush.gg blocks 21 states, including California, New York and New Jersey. LuxDrop's and Jemlit's rules do not say whether they take US players. Open here means the site's rules allow it. It is not our view of the law. Our state-by-state legal guide covers that.
Is there a Boxed.gg alternative that pays out in cash?
Several pay out in crypto. HypeDrop pays from $15 with a 2% fee, and has no bank withdrawal. RillaBox pays crypto only, from $25. Cases.gg pays crypto after you verify your identity. LuxDrop pays crypto and shows the fee before you confirm. Upgrader.com pays crypto or ships the prize, with no card or bank withdrawal. Krush.gg lets you withdraw the balance from a prize you sell back. Jemlit has no way to withdraw money at all.
What sites like Boxed.gg does Reddit suggest?
Reddit posters name Courtyard, Phygitals and lootcase.gg as alternatives. Courtyard and Phygitals are pack sites, not box sites. You rip (open) a digital pack. The card you pull is a real graded card, scored and sealed in a case by a grading firm. It is kept in a vault. We review both with the pack sites. We have not reviewed lootcase.gg.
How many Pokémon boxes does each Boxed.gg alternative have?
The numbers differ a lot. When we reviewed each site, Pullbox had about 280 Pokémon boxes and HypeDrop had 58. HapaBox had 41, LuxDrop 10, Krush.gg 7 and Cases.gg 5. Upgrader.com had 3. RillaBox had 4 on 22 October 2026. Jemlit does not make Pokémon a focus. If Pokémon is why you used Boxed, start with Pullbox or HypeDrop.
