Erika's Invitation #196 is one of the quiet standouts from the Korean Scarlet & Violet 151 set, released back in 2023 and brought to life by illustrator saino misaki. As an Ultra Rare, it carries that extra bit of prestige on top of being part of such a beloved 151 lineup, and if you are here searching for the Erika's Invitation value, you are in good company. Raw copies sit at $30, while a pristine PSA 10 climbs all the way up to $180, which is why so many collectors keep coming back to check on it.

The collector's take on Erika's Invitation
Is Erika's Invitation worth grading?
So is Erika's Invitation worth grading? Let us talk it through honestly. That PSA 10 figure of $180 is 5.9 times what you would get for a raw copy at $30, and on paper that sounds like an easy decision. But gem mint is called gem mint for a reason. Getting a card through grading with perfectly sharp corners, clean edges and no surface wear is genuinely hard, especially with Ultra Rares that show every scuff under bright light. Add in grading fees, shipping, and the time you wait to get a card back, and suddenly that jump is not free money, it is a bet. If your copy already looks flawless to your eye under good light, it is worth considering. If it has any soft corners or whitening, you might be better off enjoying it raw or selling it as is.
How rare is Erika's Invitation?
We do not have official population numbers to lean on here, but we can talk about what we do know. Ultra Rares from Scarlet & Violet 151 were never handed out at the same rate as the common holos, and Korean print runs for this set tend to be smaller than their English counterparts, which naturally limits how many copies of Erika's Invitation are floating around at all, let alone in gem mint condition. That scarcity is part of what keeps the PSA 10 price sitting well above raw. Fewer copies surviving the grading process untouched means the ones that do carry a real premium.
Where can you pull Erika's Invitation?
Here is where PackSpy actually earns its keep. We have tracked Erika's Invitation being pulled 25 times across real pack openings on sites we monitor, including packs and lastpack, and it has turned up in product lines like Indigo League Challenge, trainer, noobie, and rookie. The biggest single pull we recorded hit $892, which is a nice reminder of what a lucky rip can look like on a good day. That said, be honest with yourself before you start opening packs chasing this card: most openings do not pay for themselves, and pack odds are built to favor the house over the long run. If you want Erika's Invitation for certain, buying it outright on the secondary market is usually the more reliable path, but if you love the chase, our pull data at least tells you where it has actually shown up.
