Persian's Reverse Holo card from the Delta Species set has a soft spot in a lot of collections, partly because Naoyo Kimura's artwork gives this sneaky cat a bit more shine than you'd expect from an Uncommon. Pulled from a set that came out back in 2005, it's aged into that nostalgic sweet spot where people start asking about Persian value again. Right now a raw copy sits at $25, which feels fair for a card with real history behind it.

The collector's take on Persian

Is Persian worth grading?

Here's the honest math on grading: a raw Persian runs $25, a Grade 9 jumps to $160, and a PSA 10 is sitting at $709, which works out to 28.4x what the raw card is worth. That's a real gap, and it's tempting. But gem mint is genuinely hard to hit on a 2005 card like this, since two decades of handling, print quality, and storage all work against a perfect corner or clean surface. Grading costs money and time regardless of what comes back, so before you send one in, ask yourself if the card actually looks flawless under a loupe, not just to the naked eye. If it does, the reward here is real. If it's borderline, you might be paying to find out the hard way.

How rare is Persian?

Across every grading company combined, only 175 copies of this Persian have ever been graded, and of those, just 48 made it all the way to PSA 10. That's a fairly tight population for a card of this age, and it tells you gem mint copies aren't sitting around waiting to be found. When a card has this few flawless copies confirmed to exist, it puts a natural ceiling on supply at the top end, which is a big part of why that PSA 10 price holds up the way it does.

Where can you pull Persian?

Our tracking shows Persian has been pulled 4 times across sites we monitor, all recorded on collector-crypt, with one lucky rip landing at $1,500. It's also shown up in Mythic Pokémon Gacha Pack openings, so it is out there in the wild, just not common. This is the kind of detail a static price guide won't tell you: real pulls, from real packs, tracked as they happen. If you're chasing one, know that most people who end up owning this card bought it on the secondary market rather than pulling it themselves, and that's worth keeping in mind before you gamble on packs hoping for this specific card. Pack odds are rarely in your favor, and that's true across this hobby, not just here.

Questions people ask

How much is Persian worth?+

A raw, ungraded Persian is worth $25 right now. Graded copies climb from there, with a Grade 9 at $160 and a PSA 10 reaching $709, so condition makes a real difference to the price.

Is Persian worth grading?+

It can be, since a PSA 10 sells for 28.4x what the raw card is worth. Just know that only 48 out of 175 graded copies have hit that PSA 10 mark, so gem mint isn't a given, and grading fees are a real cost either way.

What set is Persian from?+

Persian's Reverse Holo #50 comes from the Delta Species set, released in 2005, and it's an Uncommon illustrated by Naoyo Kimura.
