Snorlax #181 comes out of the Korean Scarlet & Violet 151 set from 2023, and it's the kind of card that makes collectors smile the second they see it, sleepy and huge and drawn beautifully by HYOGONOSUKE. It's only an Uncommon, which usually means low value, but Snorlax value tells a different story once you look at what graded copies are actually selling for. If you're trying to figure out what your copy is worth, whether it's fresh out of a pack or sitting raw in a binder, you're in the right place.

The collector's take on Snorlax

Is Snorlax worth grading?

Here's the honest answer to whether Snorlax is worth grading: raw copies sit around $14, but a PSA 10 has been valued at $15,186, which works out to roughly 1056.1 times the raw price. That's a massive jump, and it's exactly why people send copies off to get graded. But gem mint isn't a given. Grading costs money and takes time, and there's real risk that your card comes back a 9 instead of a 10, which changes the math a lot since a Grade 9 sits at $2,328, still solid, but nowhere near PSA 10 territory. If your copy has sharp corners, clean edges and centering that looks right to your eye, it's probably worth the shot. If it's got soft corners or off centering, you might be better off enjoying it raw or selling it as is.

How rare is Snorlax?

Out of the 28,186 copies that have been graded so far, 22,585 came back as PSA 10. That's a big chunk of the graded population sitting at the top grade, which tells you this card takes grading well when the copy is clean going in. It also means PSA 10s aren't the rarest thing in the world numerically, but the price still reflects how desirable a perfect Snorlax is to people building out their 151 collections. Scarcity here isn't about a tiny population, it's about demand outpacing how many gem mint copies exist relative to how many collectors want one.

Where can you pull Snorlax?

We track real pulls across pack sites, not just price guides, and Snorlax has shown up 200 or more times across mnstr, courtyard, tilt-rips and collector-crypt. The biggest recorded pull we've logged came in at $2,200, which shows just how much a single rip can swing depending on the copy and the moment. Snorlax has turned up in packs like Pack 1, Pokémon: The Amazing Chase Day 2 and Day 3, Pokemon Expert Pack, and Starter Pokémon Gacha Pack. Worth remembering though, opening packs is gambling, most rips don't come close to that $2,200 number, and buying the card outright on the secondary market is often the more predictable route if you just want the card in hand.
